Work in progress

Here is the new Mona Lisa, still in progress… I’m not sure about the doll mouth – the doll’s skin colour is paler than the one I used before – just a small change in materials creates a whole new effect. You can still see the strings of glue from the glue gun – these all have to be removed in the final ‘clean-up’ – I use diluted PVA glue on a paintbrush, and then tweezers to remove the smaller piecesMona Lisa, work in progress (quite a long process!)Mona Lisa, after Da Vinci

I can’t stop looking at all the extraordinary, unusual pieces used to create your “painting.” Love it. It makes me see everything in my junk drawer through new eyes, I may never throw anything away again!
